Nomadsally en route to Bangkok

Departure for Bangkok via Seattle and LA Tuesday am. What is Thailand going to feel like?
What lies ahead with this adventure? Will we be able to work with some women who are dyeing, sewing, weaving, embroidering. I'm ready

Visited Sala Kaew Ku Sculpture Park. Buddhist and Hindu sculptures by the dozen. Strange combinations of characters and themes that were difficult to understand, being unversed in Thai culture. Build over a period of 20 years by Lusng Pu Boun Leua Sourirat,s yogi-priest shaman who developed slolloeing in his adopted home after the communist take-over in Laos. Very strong in expressing himself, he was imprisoned for s year by the zthsi king and died the following year. The abundance, size, and weirdness of sculptures in lovely quiet
    setting are fascinating.
