On to the Colorful Peninsula of Dingle

            Dingle Peninsula

Main Street with Colorful Storefronts

The Peninsula of Dingle is similar to the Ring of Kerry.  But, it has its own unique charm of enchanted villages, great surfing, golf, remains of stone and iron age settlements and mixtures of velvety and rocky soil.
Hanging out in Dingle for several weeks would be so much fun.  Definitely one of my favorite Irish settings.

Great Concentration of Ancient Sites

Beautiful Stonework

As you can see Colorful Dingle Peninsula deserves a stay of several days to see the variety of fascinating sites: ancient Celtic and Norman ring forts, beehive huts, and castles.

We are traveling east returning to Dublin.....but stopping by the Rock of Cashel enroute.
